It is a graphite (carbon) reinforced, expanded thermal insulation plate, made of polystyrene raw material. Graphite reinforced polystyrene prevents the loss of heat energy better than white polystyrene raw material. Since at least 95% air is used as the blowing gas during production, dry and stagnant air is trapped inside the closed pore structure.
