
GULER Milk Cooling Tanks are mostly preferred in milk collection centers and the milk reception units of small capacity processing plants. After milking from the animal, it is quite important to cool the milk down to 4 0C for preventing bacterial growth and keep it under cold storage until the moment it is pasteurised. Otherwise the bacterias will start activity (mostly proteolytic activity) and cause a slight increase in the acidity; which means a decrease in the pH of milk. Thus results with harder processing conditions and quality defects on the final product.
