Bonar is adding to its Bontec ® nonwoven geotextile capacity with a new big JV plant Bonar Natpet in Yanbu, KSA. This new plant will be fully operation to cater KSA market as well as other GCC and Middle East. This new plant in Yanbu is a 50-50% JV with National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET) who are the leadings in the region for producing polypropylene (PP) which is the main raw
material for Bontec® geotextiles. Bonar Natpet plant is located inside Natpet Petrochemical Complex in Yanbu (Royal Commission Industrial Estate) to benefit from the many advantages of in-house allocation including in-site PP availability & accessibility.
