In 1970, Ibrahim Halil Kozlu who was born in Gaziantep, and his 5 sons (Fahrettin, Hasan, Mustafa, M.Hanifi and Bilal kozlu) started their business in Tomato paste. Thus, they established the bedrock of its production for commercial purposes.
This business started with successfully selling the Tomato paste produced by committed, trustful, experienced staff in Gaziantep villages by wholesale
and retail in and around Gaziantep.

By 2013, Öncü products includes mild and hot pepper paste, and tomato paste packaged in PET, tin, and glass bottles. In addition, Öncü has variety of products such as pomegranate sauce as well as cig kofte, pepper flakes, ketchup, mayonnaise, roasted egg plant, roasted pepper. In this way, Öncü widened its products variety which consequently continues to enrich the research and development studies.
