Bakkalbaşıoğlu began production of dairy products in 1958 as producing white and tulum cheese which are made of sheep milk. In 1983, as founding their first facility in Sazlıca town, firm had
a key position at cheese production in Niğde. First plant was founded in Niğde Organized Industrial Zone with 3500 m2 covered and 9000 m2 total surfaces and having machinery for capacity
of processing 100
tons of milk each day. After 2001, firm made some investments to enlarge capacity to process 150 tons of milk each day. Furthermore Bakkalbaşıoğlu sustained innovative
role in industry and founded a new plant next to existing plant for production of Milk powder and Whey powder in 2012. Current productions are continued in these plants which reached around
7000 m2 covered and 18000 m2 total surface areas. In our plants which have high technology machinery and supervision of production and quality teams, production of different types of
cheeses, yogurt, butter, cream, slip, ayran, pasteurized daily milk, milk powder and whey powder are continued in hygienic conditions meticulously. Our firm which has innovative vision and
making observations for technological developments acquired some certifications; Plant Approval Certification, TS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate, TS EN ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System Certificate, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Certificate and Hallal Certificate. Our products are reached to customers in our domestic and foreign market networks with our registered trademarks which are BAKKALBAŞIOĞLU, BAKSÜT and NİĞSÜT.
